At Ideaflow.lk, we strive to deliver exceptional engineering and digital solutions. Because our work spans custom hardware engineering, software development, and specialized digital tools, our refund policies are categorized by the type of service provided.

Custom Projects & Advance Payments (Deposits)

To allocate engineering resources and commence custom work (such as Web Design, IoT Development, CAD Modeling, and System Architecture):

• Advance Payments: An advance fee (deposit) is required prior to project kickoff.
• Client Cancellations: If you (the client) choose to cancel, abandon, or terminate a project for any reason after the advance fee has been paid, the advance fee is strictly non-refundable.
• Company Cancellations: In the rare event that Ideaflow.lk rejects, abandons, or is unable to fulfill the agreed-upon project requirements, your advance fee will be refunded in full.
• Completed Work: Delivered and approved digital projects are non-refundable.
• Precedence: These terms apply in conjunction with the specific terms outlined in your individual Project Proposal or Agreement.

Project Inactivity & Abandonment

Prompt client communication is required to keep project timelines on schedule.

• If a client becomes unresponsive or fails to provide required assets/feedback for more than 30 consecutive days without prior written notice, the project will be placed on "Hold" and deemed inactive.
• Inactive project deposits are non-refundable.
• Resuming an inactive or abandoned project may require a revised timeline and a project reactivation fee.

Physical Manufacturing (3D Printing, CNC, PCB)

Custom manufactured parts are created to your exact specifications and are non-refundable once fabrication has commenced.

• Defects & Errors: If a physical part is defective or strays significantly from the agreed-upon CAD file due to an error on our part, you must notify us within 7 days of delivery. At our discretion, we will either reprint/remake the part at no extra charge or issue a refund.

SaaS Tools & Software Subscriptions

Recurring subscriptions for tools (e.g., WhatsApp Messaging Modules, CRM API tools) can be canceled at any time. We do not offer prorated refunds for unused days in an active billing cycle.

Administrative Access & Client End-User Data Privacy

In the course of developing, hosting, or maintaining client websites, mobile applications, or database systems, Ideaflow.lk may hold administrative credentials to client platforms.

• Exclusive Client Property: We explicitly consider your end-user database and customer records to be your sole and exclusive private property.
• Zero Data Harvesting: We do not collect, export, store, sell, lease, or analyze personal data belonging to your website’s end-users.
• Scope of Access: Administrative access is utilized strictly for technical maintenance, server configurations, debugging, and agreed-upon development tasks.

How We Use Your Information

• To execute engineering, hardware, and software services as requested.
• To manage client portal accounts, billing, and project updates.
• To secure our infrastructure and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized platform use.

Data Protection & Third Parties

Project files and CAD designs are stored securely and accessed only by authorized engineering staff involved in your project. We do not sell or rent personal information or client project files to any third party. Information is shared with third-party service providers (e.g., payment gateways) solely to the extent necessary to complete transactions.

Welcome to Ideaflow.lk. By accessing our website, purchasing products, or utilizing our digital and engineering services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

1. General Overview & Agreement Precedence

Ideaflow.lk provides a dual suite of engineering services (3D Printing, CNC Machining, PCB Fabrication, IoT Development) and digital solutions. In the event of a direct conflict between these Terms and a signed, individual Project Proposal or Service Agreement, the terms of the signed individual agreement shall take legal precedence.

2. Intellectual Property Rights & Timing

• Client Rights: You retain all ownership rights to the designs, trademarks, and CAD files you submit to us.
• Client IP Warranty: You warrant that you own or possess the necessary licenses and permissions for any CAD files, logos, code, or content uploaded to Ideaflow.lk.
• Transfer of Ownership: Intellectual property, custom source code, and CAD modifications produced by Ideaflow.lk remain our property and pass to the client ONLY upon 100% full payment clearance of all invoices.

3. Client Database & End-User Ownership

All user records, databases, and customer information stored within a website or software deployed for a client remain the sole property of the client. Ideaflow.lk claims no rights over client end-user data.

4. Hardware, Prototyping & IoT Disclaimer

Custom hardware provided by Ideaflow.lk are supplied as prototypes or custom assemblies, unless explicitly certified under a specialized commercial agreement. We are not liable for secondary damages, electrical short circuits, mechanical failures, or thermal damage caused by improper assembly or high-stress environments.

5. Third-Party Platforms & API Risks

Our messaging modules and automation plugins operate alongside third-party APIs (e.g., Meta, WhatsApp, Google). Ideaflow.lk is not liable for service disruptions, feature modifications, account restrictions, or platform bans enacted by third-party platforms due to updates in their algorithms or terms of service.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use Ideaflow.lk’s services, software, or platforms for unlawful activities, transmission of malware, or sending unsolicited messaging (spam).

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ideaflow.lk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of service usage. Total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific service in question.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
